For the Love of Broccoli
February 22, 2009DUE TO THE WEEK-LONG DOWNTIME OF I.PH, THE FOLLOWING POST IS A ALSO A WEEK-LONG LATE FROM THE DATE I WAS SUPPOSED TO POST IT. *This doesn’t make sense anymore so Im going to shut up and just post the friggin not-so-lovey-dovey-love-post-thingy. Shush now Kat! NO IM NOT TAKING PILLS. Enjoy reading…*
This so called “Love Month” have dictated people such as bloggers to post something about love. I have nothing against it but sometimes, it’s just overkill. And on that note, IM GOING TO KILL IT SOME MORE. Yeah! Hahaha
A good friend of mine by the name of QUICKMELT, sent me a message that read: VALENTINE’S DAY has made us all capitalists. I could not agree more. Business men all across the globe must be rejoicing at the flow of money coming in their way. I mean seriously, could you imagine how many guys are pouring out cash to shower their “honey bunch” or “amore” or “Langga” with all things that’s sweet and nice? The generic flowers, chocolates, cards and dining out left an impression on most of us that this was how couples SHOULD celebrate. I’m not a hopeless romantic. For the duration of my relationship with “chix”, we haven’t had a planned out Valentines date. Yup. Both of us didn’t like the idea of joining in the bandwagon of smitten couples on that day. So usually, I spend it with friends and so does he. So we “celebrated” the day before Valentines. We had dinner and we went to our favorite hangout place and saw some of his friends. We talked a LOT about anything. It may not have been the most romantic or fun date for others but we like it that way. *Low-key kay basig masakpan naglaag-laag ang Kat!* hahaha
BUT….I’ll leave out my Valentine’s Day story as it was…not what I had hoped for. :( Yup. One word: HORMONES. Today you’re cheery and all smiles, tomorrow you’re the biggest grouch! Enough. I think you have an idea of what had transpired on that day.
Anyway, why do men give chocolates to women?
WHY NOT BROCOLLI?
It looks like a bouquet of green flowers to me. Plus, its edible and it has less fat and a lot of calcium in it.
What’s your story Morning Glory?
