the Dog of my Life
January 21, 2009Im a dog lover ever since i was a little kid. Though most of the critters were askals or mongrels, i think i did a good job at taking care of them. And by them, im refering to: Ortex, Doggie, Cutie, Shanee, (the Pirate coz the neighbor’s dog took her eyes out from its socket. Nasty.) Mutya, Kulit, and Tuytuy and about more than a dozen litters that were given to our relatives and neighbors to name a few. But the dog of my life would have to be… (drum roll please):
TURF
Ive had TURF for the past 7(human)years (44 dog years) now. He was given to me by my godmother- Tita Tessie, as a birhday gift. He is a miniature pinscher but my dog-bully friends refer to him as the dog who is half rat/pig/chorizo. And for a breed like Turf’s, its quite a feat for him to have had come this far.His kind are known for all sorts of nasty diseases.
Whenever we have friends over at our house, TURF always seems to steal the show. Well, its either he growls at any stranger who comes near me, or he incessantly barks whenever he hears someone laughing so hard (yeah. he’s a bit of the anti-social) or he just likes to have a barking festival. His kind is also known for being bossy. In his mind, honey, you aint the boss of him. Turf also tends to be delusional. Why? Because he thinks that he’s bigger and meaner than the rest of the mongrels here in our neighborhood.
He suits my personality. We both dont like to be in a roomfull of people, we like to sleep a lot, eat a lot, and we barely exercise. (Bad owner!) He is the best listener! He doesnt really talk back but he intently looks at me while I whine about nothing.;) Although he’s old and grumpy and faced with health issues…
I think he is perfect.

well, i let them my dawg eat anything, bathe him once a month hahaha and watch him sleep. that’s all thank you. hahaha. my dawg’s name is ISH. Nice ehh??? hehehe

mga askal mga aso namin eh..marami sila..the interesting thing maybe is that they all are named after celebrities and tv characters..our new puppies are betty and armando..kakaloka..
turf ba ang name ng puppy??very cute and you are pretty..

@vanvan: salamat uli sa pagbisita and comment. may mga askal pa rin kami hanggang ngayon. puro bitches. hehe amazing kasi pag nanganganak, iisa lng tlga yung puppy. kahit mga askal pero sobrang lambing. sosyal ng pangaln ng mga aso nyo ha. hahaha
Inggit nmn ako. wla nko dog. tagal ko na hindi nagalaga ulit. My dog was a dachshund. I like breeds like her coz they are small dogs and they are silent. Doesn’t really bark that much but very playful. hehe.. She only last a year, and she is the first ever bitch (female dog) to have survive in our household. Mostly only male dogs last, the females maybe only a week, then they die! Happened maybe thrice already.
I miss my chuchay! =(
pahingi nmn ako dogs, ung small dogs lng na breed. ayaw ko nung malalaki, scared ako. ahaha!
@purpleworm: wheee! napadaan ka rin sa blog ko. haha pareho tyo mahilig sa small dogs. di rin kasi pwede dito sa bahay yung malaking breed and yung mabalahibo kc may mga asthmatic dito. kakalungkot naman yung Chuchay mo…pero bakit madaling mamatay ang female dogs nyo? curse ba ito? hehe

mas gs2 q p rn ung mga malalaki.. ung tipong saint bernard ba.. kasi nman kung me mgnnakaw (asa nman no? parang me mnanakaw sakn e.. lol), kelangn nkkatakot.. hehe.. oh those fangs..
nga pla, nakta ko kxe kinompyut m ung age ng pet dog slash mukhang chihuahua pero hindi naman pala m,.. panu un? hehehe..
